Zetta recently polled over 230 IT professionals in top industries including finance, education, and government to find that more than half were considering the move to cloud storage. Almost half of respondents addressed the need for cloud backup and data archiving, suggesting that more businesses and IT professionals are beginning to see the need for continuous, secure data backup.
In another recent report issued by Aberdeen Group, cloud storage users indicated faster recovery times following periods of downtime, meaning cloud storage helped get their businesses back up and running more quickly than enterprises using traditional backup and disaster recovery alternatives.
